Third Edition for the Grand Prix ACF Auto Tech 2020

Wednesday 30 October

Automobile Club de France and ESSEC Automobile Club announce the opening of the third edition of their startup challenge.

After the success of their first two editions, Automobile Club de France and ESSEC Automobile Club* have announced the launch of a third edition, now called the Grand Prix ACF AutoTech in 2020. It will once again reward the most innovative French and international startups in the field.

NEW: Eager to save the entrepreneurs time by sparing them the different startup selection stages, the CarStudio (Mobivia) AutoTech Accelerator and the Grand Prix ACF AutoTech have decided to join forces. Both events are now offering a merged application process for startups wishing to both enter the competition and be accelerated in the Autotech structure of the Mobivia Group, a reference in its field.

The joint call for projects is open until December 20th 2019.

During the final, on Thursday April 2nd 2020, startups will have the opportunity to meet major players of the automobile and entrepreneurial worlds. The 6 final competitors will have the chance to hold a stand during the award ceremony.

Prizes worth nearly 200,000 € to be won, discover them page 3 of this release.

Louis Desanges, President of Automobile Club de France and President of the Jury: “For the 2020 edition, the Grand Prix ACF AutoTech is sending a strong signal to the field: AXA, FAURECIA, FIDAL and RENAULT GOUP continue to trust us when it comes to discovering and helping the entrepreneurial gems of tomorrow. We would also like to thank our official partners who are either renewing our collaboration or joining us for the first time. This edition brings the competition to an international level with the participation of French-speaking countries and it continues to tighten its bonds with the players of automotive innovation in France, particularly CarStudio with which we are launching the competition today, October 15th at the Equip’Auto trade show.”

Thierry Peugeot, President of the ESSEC Automobile Club: « With this third edition, the ESSEC Automobile Club (EAC) and the Automobile Club de France continue their successful journey. The prize package awarded to startups is becoming more and more substantial to help them face their development needs in France and internationally. We are proud of the GPACF accomplishments and we can’t wait to highlight the best AutoTech projects next April 2nd at ACF.”
